Intern Teacher Credential / MAT Program - Info & Application Help Session
Description
Join us to learn more!
Offered through Reach’s partnership with Alternatives in Action, the job-embedded Intern Credential Program provides candidates with the opportunity to pursue a California Preliminary Teaching Credential, with an optional pathway to a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree. In this program, candidates work as teachers while completing graduate-level coursework, receiving one-on-one coaching, and participating in onsite mentorship to achieve credentialing. Candidates of this program become part of a reflective community, supported by caring relationships with faculty, coaches, and peers. This network fosters academic growth and hands-on learning in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Please note: The Intern Program is designed only for California educators who already hold a bachelor’s degree.
This session will take place virtually via Zoom and consist of a 30-minute presentation followed by an opportunity to chat with a Reach Admissions and Enrollment Advisor about any questions you may have or if you need assistance in starting, completing, or submitting your program application & supporting documentation.
